Aliengender

A xenogender.
Original definition: "A gender that is an interpretation of a gender or genders, from a nonhuman perspective. May or may not like to fit into a gender and adopt a gender, but in a sort of ‘alien trying out foreign species’s gender’ way. Can be combined with relevant genders. Coined in 2014 by genderghoul on the Mogai-Archive tumblr.¹

Later definition: "Not identifying with earth's gender binary due to being from another planet. Can also identify with a gender from another planet."
** July 2019 definition:** "a gender that is aligned with outer space and the galaxy, but not actually associating as those, but more specifically, as an inhabitant. this is a gender that is complex and mysterious, but is also floaty and free, much like the vast expanse of outer space.pronouns are ali/alis/aliself!"²

History

Aliengender was coined in 2014 by a since-deactivated tumblr user with the handle "genderghoul." It was submitted to and posted on Mogai-Archive, the first real archive of MOGAI terms, making it one of the original generation of MOGAI terms. The flag was designed by an anonymous submitter to the archive blog Beyond-Mogai-Pride-Flags on June 18, 2018.³

Coined on February 15, 2018 by anonymous on the Uncommongenders tumblr.1

Aliensic is defined as "a xenic [xenogender-related) alignment to aliens." The colors of the flag "are based off the stereotypical color association for aliens," according to the coiner.²

History

Aliensic was coined on the 15th of February, 2018 by an anonymous user who submitted it (and a self-made pride flag) to the MOGAI coining and term archive blog Uncommongenders.

Coined on or before September 27th, 2014 by an unknown Mogai-Archives user. Flag created by Pastelmemer before Jan 30, 2016.

Caelgender is a xenogender defined as "an aesthetically-centered gendered that is largely focused on space related things (such as stars, aliens, planets, galaxies, and black holes)."

History of the term

Caelgender's original coining post can no longer be found. However, the term appears in a pastebin document belonging to Cade, one of the mods of the now-defunct original MOGAI term repository, MOGAI-Archive, dated September 27th, 2014.¹ Therefore, the term was created on or before that date, likely by the Archive mods or one of their followers. The flag was posted by a later archive site, Pride-Flags-For-Us, on January 30, 2016, but attributed to prolific MOGAI contributor, pastelmemer.²

Estrialgender was coined on January 16, 2018 by an anonymous tumblr user on Ask-Pride-Color-Schemes as a rename of aliengender (as that term already existed with a different definition).² The flag was created by tumbr user inkhorror and submitted to APCS on January 18, 2018. The 2nd flag was made by mod Magi of APCS.³

Galaxiegender was coined was coined on December 20, 2015 by galaxyprincet. Despite later revealing themself to be a troll, galaxyprincet's term still gets included in gender lists and recommendations by major non-troll MOGAI blogs such as Beyond-Mogai-Pride-Flags.²

Space Alien has no known flag. The first findable instance of it appearing in a list of terms is on March 2, 2017, although it likely predates this by quite a bit.²
