The flags are a combination of the ficto- and kin- flags, with the middle stripe changing colour depending on which type of attraction it represents.

Aliussexual (/-romantic/-platonic/-aesthetic/-queerplatonic/-sensual/-alterous) is a kinsexuality defined as "An orientation for fictionkin, for those who experience attraction towards fictional characters from their source, exclusively or not. This does not mean attraction to people who have a kintype from the same source, rather the character themself.
A subtype of fictosexual.
From alius, meaning ‘other’ in Latin."1

History of the term

Aliussexual was coined on May 1, 2018 by xeno-aligned.2 The flags were created at the same time.3

I’m Bellatrix Lesteange-kin,
and I’m in love with Voldemort
fuck off you Voldykin posers,
you muggles fall far short.

I love only the Dark Lord,
no substitute can compare,
you losers all have noses,
and you also all have hair.
