Though the term was almost certainly submitted by a troll, BMPF posted it with no critique or questioning, thus lending it a semblance of legitimacy. Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags defends their position on troll terms thus:

"if a troll submits a term or flag that someone else might legitimately identify with, then it all works out in the end!"3
