Cancegender is a zodiacgender defined as "an individual is agender as their “base” gender but experiences fluid/fluxing gender feelings in tandem with their emotions. These gender feelings may confuse or upset the individual and cause their emotional state to go haywire, which causes more gender changes."1

History of the term

Cancegender was coined on or before August 8, 2014 by tumblr user pleurocarpous via MOGAI-Archive.2 The first flag was created on or before August 17, 2015 by Pride-Flags on Deviantart.3 The second flag was created on August 25, 2015 by Pride-Flags on Deviantart.4 The third flag was created on or before September 10, 2016 by tumblr user dreamycloud1.5
