Browns for earth/North, Blues for water/West, Greens and Whites for air/East, and Reds and Oranges for fire/South.

Compassgender is defined as "a catchall term for the 4 different genders associated with the 4 directions: Northgender, Southgender, Eastgender, and Westgender.1

History of the term

Compassgender was coined on or before February 19, 2017 by tumblr user pastelmemer. The flag was created at the same time.2

Northgender is pretty white,
but there’s Inuit, at least
Southgender is fairly diverse,
and so is the gender of the East.

Westgender comes from the root
of all human pain and war–
no other place on planet earth
had a gender binary before.

These are the four genders
of the Compass Rose;
and they all must be protected…
even Westgender, I suppose.
