Confettium is a gastrogender defined as "a gender associated with confetti, balloons, birthday parties, sheet icing cakes, and sprinkles on vanilla ice cream. Optionally party clowns."1

History of the term

Confettium was coined on December 31, 2019 by tumblr user mogaianarchy. The flag was created at the same time.2
