Curatinem is a neurogender defined as "a gender that was once ripped away due to identity loss from child abuse and/or neglect, and is slowly being pieced back together (along with one’s identity) during the process of healing. Only for Child Abuse and/or Neglect Survivors."1

History of the term

Curatinem was coined on December 5, 2019 by tumblr user flowerfallsyndrome via tumblr user mogaicore. The flag was created at the same time.2
