Inuviel (Sindarin)/Inyaviel (Quenya) is a fictigender defined as "The Valinorean Elven equivalent to female/woman, a xenobinary or conventionally nonbinary identity adjacent but not identical to human conceptions of womanhood. The two terms are interchangeable - simply pick what’s best for you."1
History of the term
Inuviel was coined on November 26, 2019 by tumblr user sunset-mogai-archive. The flag was created at the same time.2
