Molebug is a neurogender defined as "an term representing the opposite of gender, identifying with unreality and dissoconnection [sic] from humanity, and an attachment to an alien-like sense of self. Can be described as surreal, intense, and dreamlike."1

History of the term

Molebug was coined on January 20, 2020 by tumblr user leatherrot. The flag was created at the same time.2
