The two blues are varying stages of clarity people might experience.
Orange stands for individuality and the unique nature of a sexuality too confusing for the person themselves to even understand.
The green lines between are for novisexuals who also have some aromanticity or asexuality in how they identify.
The white lines are for the presence of all colour/light = possibility of all sexualities being present in a sort of… mix? Or blend.

Novisexual (/-romantic/-platonic/-aesthetic/-queerplatonic/-sensual/-alterous) is a miscellaneous MOGAI sexuality defined as "a sexual/romantic orientation too hard to pin down and describe in one word."1

History of the term

Novisexual was coined on July 6, 20142 by tumblr user frogcommunism.3 The flag was created on the same date4 by frogcommunism.5
